The Story
This is the second vintage pair of mid-century kid gloves in Rue Trousseau's collection. This pair has a distinctly different set of details, with a double diagonal whipstitch, tassels, and dark thread. Slightly more textured grain but still very smooth and thin, made in the tradition of the European glovers of the mid-century. Flat, clean wrist with small vent. Unlined. Note: Each image shows variation in color. A very pale beige or warm ecru is closest. Darker than the ivory pair. All, any inconsistencies in color and cleanness of the gloves are photographic artifacts and not accurate representation. Gloves are clean and consistent in color throughout.
