The Story
In keeping with the mission of ethics/sustainability at Rue Trousseau, we're proud to carry this. This label is a fair trade organization with decades of history supporting Indian artisan cooperatives, selling through Ten Thousand Villages and similar ethical retail channels. This is not fast fashion, but rather hand-crafted and mission-driven goods. Aside from that, this print, the decorative details, notched neckline, beautiful shell buttons, and the softness of the cotton make this piece irresistible. Hand embroidering, rick-rack style stitching, indigo chain-stitched floral motifs, are all beautifully and precisely executed.
